Meet & Greet
BRAZIL REMANI (she/her) loves to play and write, so it is only befitting that she identifies as a playwright and writer. Hailing from Atlanta, GA, she writes pieces with a purpose, led by characters filled with contradictions—much like life itself. She desires audiences to leave each of her works triggered into reflection and ready to spark conversation.

Under the guidance of Dr. Kristyl Tift, Brazil began her theatre career as a dramaturg for Vanderbilt University’s production of Unfinished Women Cry in No Man's Land While a Bird Dies in a Gilded Cage. Brazil’s play The Cost of Justice was selected for the SheATL Summer Festival, and she is a 2025 Barbara Molette Scholar with Working Title Playwrights, where she continues honing her craft through the New Play Dramaturgy Intensive. Her play The Welfare Queen was selected to be workshopped in New York City’s Workshop Theatre - Fall 2025 intensive. She was recently named a runner-up in the 2026 Del Shores Foundation Playwriting Competition. Her ten-minute play, Eddie’s Special, was showcased at the Essential Theatre Festival in August 2025. Signing Day, another ten-minute play, was first presented to an audience in January 2026 at 7 Stages during Essential Theatre’s 2026 Bake-Off. Currently, she is revising her manuscript and daydreaming about her next project while her furry co-writer rests near her feet.
